I knew I didn't want to go through life like this and if something could be done, I was willing to try. I made an appointment with Dr. Cameron. After a thorough examination, he ordered a CAT scan to get a look at my sinus and nasal passages. They were good so we set up an allergy test. I reacted to normal household dust and other items. We decided to begin with weekly allergy shots to hopefully build up enough immunity so whenever I caught a cold, it would run it's normal course and not turn into a sinus infection.
IT WORKED! It has been 90% effective. During the last two years, I have had five colds and none of them became sinusitis. Even when I do catch a cold, they seem to be less severe. They do not turn into the full-blown head cold that lasts seven to ten days with about three days of not being able to breathe. Instead, they come and go in three to five days.
