Audioloist
Carrie Morris, Au.D., graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Woman's University in 2003. She attended graduate school at the University of North Texas, graduating in 2007 with her Clinical Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.). She is certified in audiology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow in the American Academy of Audiology.

As an audiologist, Carrie performs hearing tests for adults and children. She also fits and services hearing aids. Her interests also include patient education and hearing loss prevention.

Outside of work, Carrie enjoys reading, photography, and spending time with her horse, Red.

Ear Molds
Ear molds can be custom made in brilliant colors for adults and for children. Some people are avid swimmers who want to prevent water from getting in their ears, others may have tubes in their ears and recieved a doctor recommendation. Ask about custom swim plugs today!

Hearing Aid Sales & Service
Dr. Cameron's office offers a wide variety of hearing instruments featuring the latest technology. We emphasize ongoing cleaning and maintenance after your hearing aid purchase to insure you receive optimum performance and benefit from your hearing aids. Repairs are provided on all makes and models with loaner hearing aids available when necessary.

Audiological Evaluations
Complete hearing testing for ages four to adult provided by a certified clinical audiologist. Evaluations include measures of hearing sensitivity for air and bone conducted sounds, measures of speech discrimination ability and, when necessary, assessment of the middle ear function (impedance audiometry), and special testing to determine the location of dysfunction.

Impedance Audiometry
The middle ear and the acoustic reflex are assessed with a clinical electroacoustic bridge, which can activate the acoustic reflex with either contralateral or ipsilateral test tones. Eardrum mobility and middle ear pressure are evaluated ipsilaterally.

Real Ear Measurement
With our real ear measurement system, we can now measure and record the actual performance of your hearing aids while they are in your ears. This computer analysis helps us to verify that your hearing aid prescription is precisely matched to your individual requirements.

Assistive Listening Devices
We offer information and guidance on use of assistive listening devices, such as amplified telephones, FM transmitter systems, and infrared systems. These systems serve as additional help in situations when hearing aids do not provide the necessary assistance. We will either order the device in which you are interested, or give you the information to order on your own.
